Notes:
Twining plant on low herbaceous vegetation. Leaves shining beneath, with coiled terminal tendrils. A small patch of a few plants only. Flowers pendent with perianth segments curving upwards and inwards to more or less meet, 5-6 cm long x 12-14 mm wide in the middle, initially lower half yellowish-green; upper half orange-red, eventually all crimson.
