Habitat:
Trailing through Kikuyu grass above Mangrove swamp.
Possibly indigenous here. Although site is now overgrown with adventives G. Platt knew of Ipomoea here before the motorway was built then it grew in a natural environment amongst Manuka, Pohutukawa and Mangroves. This area was quite remote then.
