Notes:
Tree 4-5m high. Bark becoming rough and scaly towards base. Leaves ± glaucous, usually in twos, sometimes in threes, in dense clusters. Shoots brown in second season. Buds resinous. Cone in collection, asymmetric, umbos sharply prickly, the cone persistent and backward pointing.
