Habitat:
Fairly open fernland, with low Cyathodes and Dracophyllum.
Notes:
Rhizomes very slender and creeping. Fronds curling over towards apex, rather dark purplish-green when collected (i.e. without rain for a few days). Abundant in the peaty soil. This habitat is known locally as the "clears".
