On steep, open, rhyolite spur with grasses and mosses and shrubs.

Notes:
Low subshrub with sprawling slender branches. Leaves somewhat distichously arranged. Helichrysum lanceolatum and H. filicaule both in vicinity. H. bellidioides not seen, but known to be not far away.
