Cultivated in semi-shade.
Notes:
Clump-forming bamboo in large container, rhizomes not apparently running. Culms to c.3m high, dense, flattened on one side of internodes, green, later yellow, slightly zigzag. Habit rather dense. Leaves glaucescent beneath.
