I consider this material to be an extreme alpine form of Wijkia extenuata. Such predominatly "stem-leaf only" forms may be terrestrial (H. & W. Frey s.n., 6 Mar. 1994, CHR 458214) or epiphytic (example???). "Stem-leaf only" forms obtain their most extreme expression in alpine grasslands where the plants are strongly yellow-pigmented, the leaves only weakly denticulate near their apices, the laminal cells smooth but porose (C.D. Meurk s.n., 31 Jan 1986 ex Temple Basin, CHR 481544).
