Notes:
Basal leaves with purple undersides, stems and leaves densely clad in numerous silvery hairs which impart a distinctive `velvety' texture quite unlike the harsh scabrid texture of Senecio hispidulus. Only a few plants seen in one site. This material grown on to procure flowers and seed. Specimen cultivated at Percy Reserve and collected from there on ?-NOV-1992.
