Common
Keywords:
Limestone; Lowland; Moist; Rock; Shaded; Sheltered; Slope; Tallforest(>20m)
Notes:
Sympatric with A. bulbiferum s.s. but distinguished from this species by rhizomatous habit, non-vivaporous habit and smaller, narrower fronds. Ecologically A. `calicole'appears confined to rock (limestone) while Asplenium bulbiferum grows on the soil in between. Exact relationship to A. gracillimum seems uncertain, save A. gracillimum s.s. does not have a creeping rhizome
Observed species:
Asplenium bulbiferum s.s.
Neomyrtus pedunculatus
Nothofagus menziesii
Schefflera digitata
