Habitat:
Slope on north side of summit, open short turf.
Notes:
Small herb with creeping "stolons", tending to form a small mat when grasses and other herbs are sparse. All vegetative parts white or greyish-white, except upper leaf surface in semi-shade. Phyllaries light brown. Locally common. (Euchiton audax, J.Holub, New names in phanerogamae 3. Folia geobotanica et phytotaxonomica 9:261(1974)).
