Notes:
Small tree 7-8m tall. Trunk and main branches stout (i.e. pachycaulous) pale brown, with short spines. Leaves shining, subcoriaceous. Inflorescence very large and paniculate, composed of numerous subglobose umbels. Flowers ivy-scented, cream with yellow disc; petals triangular-lanceolate.
