Habitat:
On Waiau Terrace edge in adventive scrub.
Notes:
Tree 7-8m high, young. Bark grey [coll]. Foliage orange-scented. Buds pointed, purplish-brown (Fagus-like). Cones 7-8cm long (including bract scales), light brown. Very common!.
