Supplementary remarks:
Probable backcross to K. "linearis". Bark typical of K. "linearis" (brown, flaking in tabular pieces), leaves "linearis" like but hairs, twisted, wispy confined to midrib & margins. Features of K. "latifolia" are especially evident in the ± broader sepals, flower size & corymbiform rather than open, spicate inflorescence.
