Amongst windshorn manuka and Cyathodes juniperina on an exposed ridge within an extensive gully system.

Notes:
About 20 plants seen. All in immediate threat from a nearby uncontrolled scrub fire. Cuttings taken. The fire had on my visit already destroyed > or = to 90% of this localised endemics habitat. Pimelea aridula var. `Cook Strait Race'.
