Citrus plantation, cultivated on red volcanic soil. Large spreading shrub or small tree with smooth, rather mottled light and dark bark, not collected. Leaves dark shining green above, scarcely aromatic when bruised. Fruit large to very large, varying from somewhat flattened and rounded to very broad ovate (obovoid presumably: W.R. Sykes 8/11/1999) and from c. 8-14cm across when mature, yellow; skin thick, to c. 1.5cm thick; flesh pale translucent greenish-yellow, fairly sweet. See fruit collection. Sheets A to B (fruit).
