Habitat:
Small stand of introduced trees,. Cultivation relic.
Notes:
Tree c.22-23m high. Trunk light grey and fissured; habit erect and not very spreading. Leaves with pinkish petioles, becoming yellow before falling. Almost certainly the largest plant of this species in the south island and possibly N.Z.
