Habitat:
Garden. Semi-adventive.
Notes:
Perennial herb with short, mainly underground stems and small white bulbils terminating slender stolons. Leaflets with a few dark flecks above, glaucescent beneath. Scapes to c.20cm long; flowers pendent in bud erect later. Sepals lacking red terminal calli. Petals ± sulphur-yellow, c. 2.2 × 1.2 cm, asymmetrically obovate, with rather faint darker venation in lower half. Filaments c.8 mm long & appendaged in lower half (i.e. longer whorl, or c. 5.5 mm long and unappendaged (shorterwhorl). Styles c.5 mm long, recurved near apex.
