Notes:
Phyllostachys. Clump-forming and with rhizomes tending to run. Culms c. 3m but many only c.2m,green at first, nodes dark, flattened on one side, old culms becoming yellow oryellowish-green. Culm sheaths pinkish-brown with some dark mottling. Leaves glaucescent below.
