The community extends along the ridge for ca.500m. Some plants up to 6m tall, most 3m in groups. Host to stem-galling and big bud Cecidomyid and leaf mining Agromyzid (flies), to the usual flower-eating geometrids (Chloroclystis), and to Pasiphila spp.
