Habitat:
Dense tall grass and other herbs near bank of stream.
Notes:
Herb or shrub with erect stems 70-80 cm high. "Bark" very tough. Petals yellow with dark red base, c. 5 x 3.5-3.8cm; whole flower 9-9.5 cm across. Stigmas dark red. A few plants.
