Habitat:
Valley bottom in Hibiscus forest. Soil pocket near stream.
Notes:
Young tree c.2m high with single stem. Young stems, petioles and midrib below, as well as very young leaves, pinkish-purple. A common species but plants usually lacking the purplish colour.
