Notes:
Large tree c. 30 m high. Bark dark greyish-black. Shoots brown. Leaves white-banded below, dark green above, +/- pectinate on lower more juvenile shoots, almost orange scented. Cones erect, 8-9 cm long, cylindrical, greenish- brown. Apparently mature when collected.
