Notes:
Spread by portions of roots with adventitious buds. This infestation began in early 1960's from seed blown in from colonies on the margin of Riccarton Bush. Eradication of plants in both vegetable and flower gardens took some years, and until 1989 it seemed to have been eliminated; these specimens have appeared in a new site in the section. stems ± elliptical in cross section, ± ridged on one side Auricles of cauline leaves rounded.
