Habitat:
Open grassy hillside facing east.
Notes:
Tree 6-7 m high, with several trunks; habit dense. Bark greyish-brown, flaking (coll.). Foliage forward-directed, rigid and prickly. Shoots light brown. Cones symmetric, with yellowish brown umbos, c. 6 cm long. 4 saplings in the vicinity.
