Steep cliff of volcanic rock facing +/- north-west and on banks above.
Notes:
Trunk-forming succulent with stems 20-30 cms high, c. 1.5cm thick, branches few. Leaves in terminal rosettes which are +/- saucer-shaped and to c. 15 cm diam. Lvs flat, green, lacking red-margin, larger ones c. 8 x 3cm, c. 3mm thick, ± obovate, mucronate. Fls in pryamidal panicle c. 13 x 11 cm wide at base. Calyx green. Corolla yellow. Petals 7-10, 6-7mm long, narrow oblong or linear to lanceolate-ovate, often this range in same flower. Scattered plants.
