Shrub, ± erect (except at base) with stems forming a clump to c. 60cm high. Lvs in terminal rosettes. Lvs to 6x3cm, green, obovate to rhombic-obovate 4-6 mm thick, flattish on top, slightly keeled below, red-margined towards the +/- mucronulate apex.
