Notes:
Spreading shrubby plant, stems sometimes rooting, to c. 50cm tall to top of infl. Infl. to c.24 x 20cm, pyrmidal; rather open; often c. 10 x 10cm. Lvs. in terminal rosettes, except up infl. stems, slightly concave above, slightly convexly keeled below; +/- glaucous or glaucescent to 6 x 2.5cm, obovate or broardly spathulate - obovate, 5-6mm thick; red-margined towards apex, mucronate. Peduncles, pedicles, bracts and calyx ± pink-tinged. Calyx 4-6 x 2-2.5mm, sepals ± triangluar-ovate. Petals 8-10, 10-12 x c. 3-3.5mm, elliptic-lanceolate, whitish; often pink-tinged. Filaments 7-9mm long, flattened, white. Styles 4-5mm long, white. Gland 1mm 0.3mm white. An abundant species on the steep and precipitous open slopes.
