Habitat:
In scrub of introduced semi-wild shrubs.
Notes:
Arborescent succulent with stems to c.70cm high & c.2cm diam. Leaves in terminal rosettes, to 6.7 x 2.5cm, obovate, c.2mm thick, flat strongly tinged dark purple, especially on lower surface of mature leaves; apex mucronulate. Old infls. with plantlets. a small stand of c. 1sq. metre! Presumably spreading after an original planting.
