Notes:
Small widespreading, many-branched shrubs to c.50cm high. Leaves in terminal rosettes mostly 7-10cm across, to 6 x 2.8cm, obovate, glaucous with red margin - 5-6mm thick, ± concave above, convex and slightly keeled below, ± apiculate. Glands 0.8-1mm x 0.8-1mm, square, white. Carpels white, c.8mm long. Infl stems 20-30cm long, upper part and branches pinkish. Infl. c.15 x 12cm, broadly pyramidal. Calyx c.4mm long, sepals narrow triangular, reddish, sharply acute. Petals 8, c.9 x 2.5mm, ± elliptic-lanceolate, white or flushed pink, acute. Longer stamens c.7mm long; shorter male c5.5mm (incl. anthers); filaments pink.
