Habitat:
On seasonally dry kauri litter mound together with kidney fern (Cardiomanes reniforme). Semi-shaded location beneath forest of pole kauri & tanekaha.
Notes:
Creeping sub-surface rhizome. Fronds held steeply, but drooping distally. Fronds dark olivaceous, dull; almost translucent. Rachis blackish. Sori mid-deep brown
