Waipara Co. was added to the locality Mt Benger in the handwriting of T.W. Rawson, which would make this a Canterbury Collection. J.S. Thomson and G. Simpson were collecting in Weka Pass in February 1937. However, there is a Mt Benger SW of Roxburgh in Otago.
