Sapling. Shoots (previous season's) brown and terete. Petioles reddish, grooved above. Lamina whitish-green below, ± glandular at base, somewhat balsamic-scented.Specimens from 2 spontaneous plants, ? seedlings and if so would be of hybrid origin with P. x gileadensis as one parent.
