Notes:
Medium sized tree, one of a small grove. Trunk rather smooth, greenish. Shoots whitish scurfy. Winter buds appressed pubescent. Catkins ± pendulous to b cm, including decurved stalk, when collected. Bracts c. 3mm, excluding long cilia, membranous shining, brown in upper part, incised. Cup-shaped dic 0.5-1mm deep, tending villous. Leaves collected 19/10/1980; lamina shining above, whitish below.
