Male. Tree c.9m. Branches with bark smooth, yellow. Shoots yellow,snapping. Catkins not pendulous. Leaves tendingglaucescent below. Bracts c. 1.8-2.3mm, ± oblong, cucullate, green. Glands (2) yellow, larger anterior one c. 0.5mm, broad oblong.
