among Cop. propinqua-matagouri on schist rocks
Notes:
Divaricating shrub, 1.5m tall. Not uncommon. Leaves flat; satiny white below. (O. virgata var rugosa, specimen (218), on same foothills of Rock & Pillar Range, about 25 km distant, but always beside streams on steep rocky slopes. O. lineata occurs near Middlemarch. No cases of sympatry between any of these 3 spp. actually found).
