Notes:
Seen growing wild and at houses in a number of places usually around villages. Plants completely mauve except for yellow anthers; subwoody plant with few branches 2m tall; the green form is about as common as this one and called "lepohina", trunk ringed at nodes. Tongan name: "lepokula".
