Habitat:
Shrubland with manuka near riverbank, bounded on other side by red tussock shrubland; tall manuka nearby.
Notes:
Bushy shrub about 2.5 m tall with green, slender branches and few leaves. Young pods green. Flowers white with purple blotch on standard, or dull yellow with less conspicuous brownish blotch.
