Habitat:
Stoney bed of river among stones.
Notes:
Forming spreading patch of fine, green, almost rush-like slender stems growing thickly, with single fat pods on slender peduncles. Patch about 1 metre x 80 cm. A few more much smaller plants nearby. Fresh dark green, almost like a fine grass sward. Pods short, fat, dark. Browsed, presumably by hare, but growing luxuriantly. Sheets A and B.
