Fairly common in low rain forest on ridge
Notes:
Small tree, ca 5 m tall, 6 cm diam.
Young branches pale brown, older ones dark purple-brown, glossy. Leaves dark green above, pale to mid green below; young leaves purplish. Old leaves before falling turning dark purple above, yellowish below. Peduncles, caly olivaseous. Corolla white. Filaments creamy, anther cells pale yellow. Style and stigma creamy, ovary pale green.
