Talbot Herbarium. Lake Tekapo altitude 707m. Fed by waters of Godley River and the tributary, Macauley River. Lake Tekapo is drained by Tekapo River, upper tributary of Waitaki River. The lake which occupies the bed of an ancient glacier, is 24km long and 4.8km wide = 82.9 square kilometers. NZMS 1: S90/S101. (Euchiton audax, J.Holub, New names in phanerogamae 3.
