From letter from G.B. Rawlings, Tokerau Beach, 30.12.1973. "The Brassica is on the next section to mine (almost vacant) and also on the opposite side of the road. The next door section is owned by an Indian and the land fomerly by Dalmations. So possibly they brought the seed in"
Supplementary remarks:
Specimen comes closest to this species of Spain & Portugal: relative dimentions of the several parts of fruits agree but does not agree in all other details. Close to, but more hispid and fruit with longer beak than in B. tournefortii Gouan, which occurs here.
