Habitat:
Moss-clad boulders and rock walls in a gorgey section of river, trapping flood sands up to 4m above average stream level, both out in the open, and in the upper part of the flood zone, under light Carmichaelia (angustata probably), Blechnum capense, flax, Chionochloa conspicua, etc. Generally on faces or steeper places. (see attached letter for full details).
Notes:
Three plants grown on for cytology. (Glo489). c.2km from Buller River confluence in section of river cut in Jurassic sedimentaries including Hawks Crag breccia, but trapping granite-derived sands.
