Habitat:
"permanently wet cushions of moss, shaded for most of the day, on a single rock face aginst a 100 foot waterfall." Mr J.H. Willis.
Notes:
The plants.."permeate the mossy substrate with their long nodal roots, without contacting any soil at all - there is actually no soil on the wet rock walls and ledges where they grow".. Mr J.H. Willis.These specimens originated from one plant split into three and grown on in separate pots at Botany Dividion, DSIR, Lincoln, as G 10599, until 5/3/74. Two of the three plants appear above.0-3(-4) very weak teeth are seen on each margin of the leaves of live plants. The teeth are much obscured in dried material.
