Habitat:
Higher ground (i.e. drained) at edge of tarn.
Notes:
With Hebe spp and snowgrass at edge of tarn basin. Shrub 2½ - 3 ft high. Duplex achenial hairs mainly at top, few in bottom ½, occasional glandular receptacular scales 4. Florets, white typed phyllaries. (=C.vauvilliersii).
