21 metres north of Thomson Hut. Sandy bank 1.8-3.6 metres above normal river level (Wapiti River).

Site no. 1. Nodules sent to Dr. D. Norris, CSIRO, St. Lucia, Queensland, Australia. "Sample 1A". Plants only 60 cm. high. Growing in 20 cm. of sand. Compare CHR 182022, Carmichaelia grandiflora, growing nearby. Closely grazed ground cover of Pratia, Nertera, Hydrocotyle. Supplementary Lable: Nodule sample No.22 sent to R.M. Greenwood, Plant Chemistry Division. 1968.
