Medium-sized tree 25-30 ft. (Young ?) Shoots brown. Lvs. not pectinate and the V formation is indistinguishable above; particularly on reproductive shoots. Leaves white-banded below. Resin canals sub-marginal on vegetative shoots.Resin canals ± internal on reproductive shoots. Cones 8½-9 cm long, cylindrical, purple. Bracts exserted with tips reflexed.Cones in collection.Winter buds resinous, purple.
