Weinmannia racemosa dominated seral forest with scattered Metrosideros umbellata, Griselinia littoralis, Nothofagus menziesii, and senescent Leptospermum scoparium, developed on slip face dated at 73 years; granitic gneiss bedrock; ca. slope 30° northeast exposure; on hepatics (esply [especially] Porella) on trunk of Metrosideros.
