I am impressed with the presence of abaxial papillae on the lamial cells. While this is the most convincing material of Wijkia I have seen from the kermadec, it is not representative.

Specimen notes
Supplementary remarks:
Sterile; attenuate branches present.
An exceedingly difficult specimen to name confidently. Leaves only weakly dimorphic; leaf margins entrie or very nearly so; laminal cells with papillae but apparently non-porose. This material epitomizes the difficulty of distinguising Wikia [Wijkia] and Sematophlyyum subhumile var contiguum on the Kermadec and I do not believe that the distinction can be made confidently in many cases.
