Habitat:
Depleted tussock grassland.
Notes:
Fagans Downs, 4 miles West of South branch of Ashburton River. In depleted tussock grassland (Poa and Festuca) with Gentiana spp. 6248 and 6249. Scapes 3-10 ins. high, flowers lemon yellow. A mixed population some plants with leaves hoary above and others glabrous above.
