In depleted tussock grassland (Poa and Festuca). With Craspedia 6247 [CHR 144627] (R. Melville).
Notes:
Poison mercuric chloride. Smaller plants than number 6248 (CHR 144626), stems slender 10cm - 23cm high, dark brownish black to brownish green, flowers white.
